Drawing the Line: Utilitarian Pots is a juried exhibition featuring ceramic functional pots. The work chosen must be crafted into a vessel and equally address the surface as a three-dimensional canvas. The use of line is an important element in the consideration of the chosen work. The works maybe marked with abstraction and/or representation. The purpose of this exhibition is to present the various ways that contemporary potters deal with surface design in conjunction with form. The exhibition will be held at the University of Arkansas’ Fine Arts Center Gallery from November 29- December 17, 2010. The exhibition is open to everyone. There is a twenty-five dollar fee for up to three entries. Click here for more details and application.
