Call for entry – Clay on the Wall

Open to professional artists living in the U.S. who are 18 years and older. All work must be made predominantly of clay and hang on the wall. Work must be original, and completed within the last three years.
Entry Deadline: October 13, 2009 – Entry form, slides, fees and SASA must be postmarked.
Exhibition Dates: January 19 – February 28th, 2010
Juror: ELAINE HENRY is currently the Associate Editor of the international ceramics publications Ceramics: Art & Perception and Ceramics TECHNICAL. She served as the Chair of the Departments of Art at Emporia State University from the year 2000 to 2007. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Wyoming in 1992, and a Master of Fine Arts Degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1995. She began teaching at ESU in 1996. Henry served as the President of the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA), a 5,000 member international arts organization, from 2002 to 2004. She is currently a Fellow of that group. She is a member of the International Academy of Ceramics and has served as President and in other board capacities on local and state arts organizations. Her work is internationally published, exhibited and collected.
Entry fee: $25 for up to three (3) artworks – multiple slide images per artwork allowed. $5 each for up to two (2) additional entries submitted. Five (5) artworks maximum may be submitted per artist, for a total entry fee of $35. (Entry fees are non-refundable.) Make checks or money orders payable to: TTU FOVA: Clay on the Wall
