H.O.T. Clay, a University of Florida Student Group is accepting entries for Currents: Contemporary Ceramics a juried exhibition dedicated to capturing the diverse landscape of ceramics across the nation. The mission of H.O.T. Clay is to increase the awareness and understanding of the ceramic arts. Over $200 in cash and prizes will be awarded at the juror’s discretion. The exhibition will be featured in the University of Florida’s Focus Gallery from Jan. 11-29, 2010. The opening reception will be on Friday, January 15 from 7-9 p.m.
Currents is open to ceramics artists age 18 and over who currently reside in the U.S. Work must incorporate clay, be original and completed within the last two years. H.O.T. Pieces should not exceed 60 inches in any direction.
Jurors for the show will be Linda Arbuckle and John Byrd.
