Art City Austin Call for Artists for Annual Art Fair

Art Alliance Austin is accepting visual artists’ applications for participation in its highly anticipated, annual art fair. Art City Austin will be held April 24-25, 2010 along the banks of Lady Bird Lake.

Jump start you career with Art City Austin! Share your work with buyers who appreciate your vision and come to experience art amidst this idyllic urban to green setting. Art begins here. At the intersection of life and art.

The jury process is highly competitive with thousands of applicants from around the world competing for 180 available juried slots in categories ranging from painting to 3-D mixed media at Austin’s major annual outdoor art fair.

Booth fee:
Accepted artists must submit the following booth fee:
$475 – Booth Space: 10 x 12: 10 x10 Tent with no outside pegs or ropes and lighting systems provided by artist.

$950 – Double Booth Space: A limited number of double booth spaces will be available. Double booth space assignments will be made based on earliest date of this application.

$100 – End Booth Supplement: End booth space assignments will be made based on earliest date of this application.

$25 – Electricity Supplement: Includes 500 watts of electricity. Electricity is not required, but can be purchased on an as needed basis.

How to Apply”
All 2010 applications must be submitted electronically through WWW.ZAPPLICATION.ORG. Completed applications and a non-refundable $35 jury fee must be received by November 15, midnight, CST.

New users to ZAPP must complete the free ZAPP registration. Once logged in, search for Art City Austin 2010 under "participating show." Artists will be required to submit 5 images of their work with their application.
