Central Time Ceramics Call for Entry

Central Time Ceramics is a biennial ceramics competition open to all artists living and working in the Central Time Zone.

DEADLINE
January 15, 2010

AWARDS
Three cash awards, worth over $1,500 will be made to the top artists in the show. Purchase awards will also be made by the University.

JUROR
Matt Wilt earned his MFA from Ohio University and his Bachelor’s degree from Penn State University. Matt’s work is exhibited nationally and internationally and he has received numerous awards including a Pennsylvania council of the Arts Fellowship and the Evelyn Shapiro Foundation Fellowhship. Matt currently teaches ceramics at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville.

ELIGIBILITY
This exhibition is open to all ceramic artists over the age of 18, who currently reside in the Central Time Zone. Central Time Zone states include: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oklahoma,Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin; however not all counties within these states are within the Central Time Zone. Artists who reside in areas of Canada and Mexico that are within the Central Time Zone are also eligible. If you are unsure if your location qualifies please contact us.

Artwork submitted must have been completed within the last three years.

All forms of ceramic expression are encouraged.

ENTRY FEE
Each artist must pay a non-refundable entry fee of $30 for up to three entries or $40 for five entries. Make all checks payable to Bradley University. (You can also pay by phone with a credit card.)

SIZE RESTRICTIONS
All ceramic works must be packed within two boxes. The interior box must be no larger than 18”x18”x18”, and the  exterior box must not exceed 24”x24”x24”.
