Wonderkammer: Cabinets of Wonder Four Projects by The Clay Studio’s Community Outreach Program

November 19, 2009 – PHILADELPHIA The Clay Studio, Philadelphia’s premier non-profit ceramic arts organization is pleased announce that the Claymobile, has been selected to participate in The Philadelphia International Airport’s Exhibitions Program. The exhibition will provide millions of visitors from the global community access to the work of local artists that collaborated on the project with children from schools and community centers located throughout the Philadelphia area. Claymobile teaching artists worked with classes at four schools from around the Philadelphia area, each of the four projects truly create a “cabinet of wonder”, showcasing the talents of Philadelphia school children and the Claymobile Teaching Artist who worked with them. Participating schools include Independence Charter School, St. Mary’s Interparochial School, The Youth Study Center and Spruce Hill Christian School.
