Lillstreet Art Center announces the Third Lillstreet International. The Lillstreet International is a juried exhibition that is designed to address contemporary issues in and the ever-changing scope of ceramic art. The exhibition is open to all artists working in clay. Each year the show will take on a different theme. This year the focus is bowls, versatile and functional forms that offer many opportunities for experimentation and diversity in form as well as surface, glaze and firing.
Juror:
Steven Young Lee, Resident Artist Director, Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts, Helena, Montana.
Prizes:
First: $500 and a solo exhibition in the Lillstreet gallery
Runners-up (2): $100
Dates:
Application Deadline: July 1, 2010
Notification: Begins July 19, 2010
Work Due: August 13, 2010
Exhibition Dates: August 20 – September 15, 2010
