Sculpture, functional, and whimsical pottery are all part of the experience at the Contemporary Clay Fair in Santa Fe on November 21st & 22nd, 2009. The New Mexico Potters & Clay Artists will sponsor the fair held at the Santa Fe Woman’s Club. Nearly 30 potters are participating in an ever-changing group who offer high quality ceramic work. Locals know this fair shouldn’t be missed and tourists visiting Santa Fe will discover the delights of high quality porcelain, terracotta, stoneware and one-of-a-kind pieces while meeting the artists who made them. It is a ceramic tour of New Mexico under one roof.
The NMPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to education and promotion of the ceramic arts in New Mexico. The group raises funds for the Bill Armstrong Grant, which provides monies to support ceramic arts education and supplies in public schools.
