Artworks in Big Rapids is proud to present the second annual "Clay, Art and Fire" pottery fest to be held in downtown Big Rapids, Michigan, Saturday June 5th and Sunday June 6th, 2010. This is a free event open to the public and will include live demonstrations from over 15 nationally known premiere potters who will be traveling to Big Rapids from all over the United States.
Come enjoy the art of throwing, glazing and firing clay of all forms…funky, functional and decorative. Experience the process of a late night ‘raku’ firing and learn about the history of folk art pottery through a live presentation.
