The Archie Bray Foundation will celebrate 60 years of leadership in the international ceramics community in 2011. A distinctive fusion of visiting artists will culminate in a three-day international symposium on June 23–25. The event is designed to highlight the state of the field of ceramic art through discussion, artwork and artistic interaction.
These leading ceramic artists will participate in the three-day anniversary gathering, presenting their thoughts and perspectives through demonstrations, artist talks, and panel discussions.
Twenty nine leading ceramic artists will participate in the three-day event, presenting their thoughts and perspectives through demonstrations, artist talks, and panel discussions. Hundreds of pieces of amazing ceramic artwork will be on display in galleries at the Bray, downtown Helena and around Montana. 12 innovative artists will be working for the month of June in a collaborative and communal studio setting in the Bray Summer Studios.
