Orsoni Smalti Veneziani has been manufacturing Venetian smalti and gold mosaic since 1888. We have created the Orsoni Prize to honor the creation of contemporary mosaic fine art. Maestro Lucio Orsoni, great grandson of Orsoni founder and current Honorary President of Angelo Orsoni and Pino Bisazza, the founder and President of Trend Group and premier art collector, will judge the competition.
Maestro Orsoni and Dottor Bisazza will award the Grand Prize to the individual who best exemplifies the use of Orsoni product in a mosaic representing excellent technique and unique artistic vision. Four additional artists will also be recognized for their work with one Finalist and three Honorable Mentions.
Artists may submit 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional works of any size and dimension.
