The Clay Studio invites you to Cups & Coffee an exhibition that includes the work of ceramicists from across the U.S. and looks at America’s love affair with coffee and coffee shops while focusing on a singular form, the mug. It demonstrates the endless approaches one can take in articulating a singular form. Mugs of all shapes and sizes, made of different clay bodies and with different surface treatments at low, mid-range and high-fired temperatures, bright colors and earth tones, classic and bold, one, two and three finger mugs are all represented.
Coffee will be served daily throughout the run of this exhibition.
